In order to ensure the smooth conduct of 2019 general elections, President Buhari and some other presidential candidates, even the candidate of the opposition, Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar will sign a Peace Accord. This accord is a guarantee of a peaceful and rancor-free period before, during and after the 2019 elections.
The candidates will declare that they will avoid to make hate speeches, spread fake news or cause socio-political unrest in the country. According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) the event is being organized by the National Peace Committee, headed by Abdulsalami Abubakar, a former Military Head of State. The official ceremony will take place in Abuja, Tuesday 11 December at 3.00 p.m.
Un accord de paix inattendu pour la présidentielle de 2019
Dans le but d’assurer le bon déroulement des élections de 2019, le président Buhari, d’autres candidats, et même celui de l’opposition, Atiku Abubakar, vont signer un accord de Paix.
Cet accord garantit paix et bienveillance avant, pendant et après les élections de 2019.
Les candidats s’engageront à ne pas prononcer de discours haineux, de répandre des informations mensongères ou de causer des conflits socio-politiques dans le pays. Selon la News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) la rencontre sera organisée par le National Peace Comitee, et dirigée par Abdulsalami Abubakar, ancien militaire et Chef de l’Etat. Elle aura lieu à Abuja, le mardi 11 décembre à 15h.
