Boko Haram hijacked a UNWFP Truck and killed four people

At 16th december 2017, In Borno, Boko-Haram Members hijacked three vehicles of a convoy and killed four people during this attack. The convoy was composed of a United Nation World Food Programm (WFP) truck and of other military vehicles on their way to Gamboru.

Terrorists opened fire on the convoy and during the confrontation with the military, Boko Haram members killed four people including the food truck driver. Then, they stole the truck and two other vehicles of the convoy. The Nigerian military have denied there was any civilian casualties in the attack.

Last year, the UN stopped all aid delivery due to the conflit with the islamic group which made the transaction impossible; a convoy has been attacked and two aid workers have been injured. The government want to stop these repeated attacks. Last week, they released 1 billion dollars to destroy Boko Haram.



Boko Haram vole un camion alimentaire de l’ONU et tue 4 personnes



Le 16 décembre 2017, à Borno, des membres de Boko-Haram ont pris possession de trois véhicules dans un convoi et ont tué 4 personnes.

Le convoi était composé d’un camion d’aide alimentaire de l’ONU et de plusieurs véhicules militaires qui allaient en direction de Gamboru. Les terroristes ont ouvert le feu sur le convoi et durant cet affrontement acharné avec les militaires, les membres de Boko-Haram ont tués 4 personnes dont le conducteur du camion. Après cela, ils sont repartis avec le camion alimentaire et deux autres véhicules. Les forces militaires nigérianes ont affirmé qu’aucun civil n’avait été tué.

Déjà, l’année dernière, le gouvernement avait stoppé les aides à la population à cause du conflit qui rendait les livraisons impossibles ; un convoi avait aussi été attaqué et deux bénévoles blessés. Pour mettre fin à ces attaques à répétition, le gouvernement a débloqué un milliard de dollars afin d’éliminer Boko-Haram.

Nigerians slave in Libya

During illegal immigration, Nigerians are kidnapped and enslaved in Libya. They have to pay a ransom for their freedom.

At the end of November, a group of protesters led a march to denounce Nigerians’slavery in Lybia. The leader was Charly Boy, a famous Nigerian singer. The protest stormed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The protesters were bound in chains, handcuffs and sealed mouths. It was a peaceful demonstration.

The spokesman of the group, Raphael Adebayo wants the federal government to take important decisions to free Nigerians slaves. Top federal government said the government is already busy repatriating Nigerians from Lybia.


Des esclaves nigérians en Lybie


Lors d’immigrations illégales, des nigérians sont kidnappés et se retrouvent esclaves en Lybie. Pour être libérés, leurs familles doivent verser une rançon.

Fin novembre, un groupe de protestants a manifesté pour dénoncer les esclaves nigérians en Lybie. Le meneur de cette manifestation pacifique, qui s’est déroulée devant le ministère des affaires étrangères, est Charly Boy, un célèbre chanteur nigérian.

Les protestants étaient enchainés, menottés et bâillonnés.

Le porte-parole, Raphael Adebayo demande au gouvernement fédéral de prendre des mesures pour libérer les esclaves. Les hauts fonctionnaires du gouvernement fédéral assurent que le gouvernement rapatrie déjà les ressortissants nigérians de Libye.

UN gift

On December 12, 2017, the United Nations granted $13.4m to the Humanitarian Coordinator in Nigeria, Edward Kallon.

This account is destined to the Northeast of the country where millions of people need urgent humanitarian assistance.

The crisis in the region is one of the severest in the world; actually, 8.5 million people are in dire need of life-saving aid. Those emergency situations are especially the consequences of the terrorist crisis caused by the terrorist group Boko Haram. 
Their attacks caused population moves, famines, and it destruction. Consequently, with this allocation, the government will be able to help the victims.

Le cadeau des Nations-Unies

Le 12 décembre 2017, les Nations-Unies ont accordé une allocation de 13.4 millions de dollars à Edward Kallon, le coordinateur humanitaire nigérian. En effet, ce versement est le bienvenu pour le Nigeria qui traverse une crise humanitaire aiguë notamment dans le nord-est du pays. Il y a dans cette région des millions de personnes qui nécessitent une assistance humanitaire.

Cette année, on a recensé 8.5 millions de personnes requérant une aide humanitaire d’urgence. Ces situations sont dues en partie au groupe terroriste Boko Haram qui commet de nombreuses attaques dans le pays.
 Leurs exactions engendrent des mouvements de population, des famines et détruisent les habitations. Voilà pourquoi cette aide de l’ONU va pouvoir aider le gouvernement nigérian à subvenir aux besoins de la population en danger.
